MISSION BRIEF

How Cell Lab Rescue works

  1. Read the scenario and select both an answer and a reason.
  2. Check your response. Both parts must be correct to complete a challenge.
  3. Use up to three hints whenever you need support. Retry as often as needed.
  4. Read the explanation after success, then continue to the next challenge.
  5. Complete all 18 challenges and download your report.

For teachers

This original review covers organelles, endosymbiosis, membrane structure, transport, osmosis, water potential, surface area to volume, and experimental reasoning. It practices skills from the Unit 2 tests using new scenarios.

Assign individually or in pairs for approximately 30–40 minutes. Ask students to submit the downloaded report in Google Classroom. Reports include completion, first-check performance, attempts, and hints for each challenge. Optional reflection responses are not automatically graded.

Progress is stored only in the current browser, with no class dashboard or automatic Classroom grade transfer. Students can edit downloaded reports; use them as evidence of practice rather than a secure test score. No student name is required during play.

On shared devices, download the report and select “Start a new attempt” before the next student begins. The hosted site’s access settings determine who can open it.
